Arrived in Portsmouth this afternoon, dumped the backpack in left luggage and headed to Gunwharf Quays for a final Sunday roast beef and to cheer on Leicester playing Swansea. If they still need the points on the last day of the season they will be guaranteed a very warm welcome at Stamford Bridge.
The young Spanish girl at check in burst into tears when she realised I’m walking to Santiago, her home town, and said her father will be ready with cheese and coffee for me when I pass their house.
